What’s emotional design?

Emotional design is the creation of products that invoke desired emotions and foster positive interactions between users and them. That means they have to know the person they are communicating with.

Emotion and Design The Connection

Every object and object that surrounds you has been designed to express emotion. We all react emotionally to our surroundings in different situations. You may be sad or happy about something, such as a specific food, or be elated by the sight. Although what you feel is distinctive is the result of emotions.

An emotion is a way for people to discover more about the world around them. A negative experience could prevent you from repeating CAD  the same mistake again. Three brain levels are involved in emotional attachment to objects: visceral, behavioral and reflective.

Visceral Emotion designer design is the first reaction when we encounter the product. It is focused on aesthetics that range from how the item appears and feels to how it stimulates your senses. We rely on our emotions and instant reaction to the item.

Behavior Emotional Design is the other. It is the term used to describe how user-friendly a product is. It’s about how efficiently the product can perform its intended purpose and how simple to use.

Reflective emotion design is the final choice. It’s the capability to project how a product has affected our lives. Designers wish to fusion make the most of their desire to create a product at the reflective level.


Normal brain function can be triggered by emotions. Stressful experiences can cause brain function be impaired.
